Inside the Family

My parents house where I grew up in Northern Wisconsin. In the woods and one of the few times there is not snow.
Dad working on my car. Thanks, and I am sorry I don’t change the oil every 3,000 miles.
Mom, after making cranberry scones hanging out in the kitchen wondering when my brother or I will get hurt next?
My brother Shane willing to let me take a picture of him. I think he is scared of the fame that being on my blog will bring him.
Picture #2 of Shane. I guess I should not interupt him while he is organizing his “stuff”?
Freezer bags my brother uses to put his “stuff” in before putting it in sterlite containers.
Old freezer bags that my brother has recycled in hopes of using again.
My brothers office in the basement where he spends most of his time organizing his “stuff”.
Shane’s sterlite containers which are full of freezer bags which are full of his “stuff”.
How Shane and I are different……………my storage space in the basement. That is a quick overview of my family. I don’t get home that much anymore but it is great whenever I do. My mom and dad are awesome and I could not ask for better parents. They would help me anyway that they could and I am always welcome. I think Shane and I are sort of hard on our parents and give them a few grey hairs. Especially now since Shane is home with a broken pelvis after being hit by a car while riding and I am home with a broken back and ear infection! Sorry.
My brother is an interesting fellow with all of the organizing he does! So those of you that think I am crazy obviously have not met Shane. Like my parents I could not ask for a better brother. He did not beat the crap out of me too much when I was little and while we have some differences we get along great. Plus, he bought me an awesome espresso machine that foams for my birthday.
Back on the road again tomorrow and I think my next entry will be from Grand Rapids, MI?
later,
g.

Garrett: Say hi to the entire Peltonen family for me. It was funny to see the picture of the homestead. I remember wiping out on a dirt bike in those woods when I was 13! Gina

That is some serious North-Woods style living. That is awesome! I did some WORS races up North a few a years ago. It was great.
