Stone Creek Coffee
Uncategorized July 25th, 2006With there being a lack of interent at the “TosaTearDown” I think Hartman and I have found every free wireless internet place in the greater Milwaukee area. It is nice to know a couple of different locations because if I want to check my e-mail twice a day then I don’t have to feel like such a nerd going to the same place twice. This afternoon I have elected to hit up the free wireless at “Stone Creek Coffee Roasters” since the fair skinned computer video game people at the portal were starting to make me feel a little uncomfortable.
Since my last post Superweek has come to an end and a new furry house guest has moved into the “TosaTearDown.”
I was unable to defened my Downer Avenue title from last year but I still had fun and raced hard. Mom and dad made it down for the race and there were a ton of other friends out cheering for me which was awesome
.
I was actually pretty tired yesterday so I did not do much besides eat, sleep, and entertain the new house guest at the “TosaTearDown” I don’t know how but a chipmunk has found its way into the house and is taking over the place. I was sitting in a recliner looking at the pictures in the newspaper when I looked over and saw this furry thing kicking back on the sofa! Then a few hours later I saw the same chipmunk in the kitchen looking for something to eat!
Under normal circumstances a chipmunk in the house would not bother me but since being victim of a vicious squirrel attack a few weeks back I am a bit jumpy around furry little critters. Needless to say I have been sleeping with one eye open.
This evening is the last night I have to worry about the chipmunk in the house because tomorrow I fly back to California. I will only be in California for a few days since Karl and myself are moving from Folsom to Boulder.
While Menzies is busy winning races at the “Tour de Toona” (nice job winning the tt Hollywood) I will be back in California loading our shit into a UHAUL and cleaning the apartment. That way when Karl gets back from Pennsylvania we will be set to drive to Boulder and move into our new place there the first of the month.
Wow, I must admit I am a really nice guy for doing that. Ahh, it is not that bad. Since I seem to move to a new place every few months I am getting pretty efficient at packing. I am planning on staying in Boulder for awhile though or for at least a year since that is how long the lease lasts. I think I get a bit chlosterphobic if I stay in one place too long?

I used to live in Orangevale, CA. Grew up there for sixteen years and while I enjoyed my upbringing, I probably would never live there again. Good luck with the move. Boulder sounds like a cool place.

I was actually at the Target store in Orangevale today and bought a new electric shaver……not that you care. Anyway I am really looking forward to living in Boulder I have only heard good things.
