Last night after the Parker crit we had a little party at our house here in Boulder and it was an awesome time.  Thanks for coming out everyon and saying farewell to Hollywood who will be going back to “Oz” for a few months.  Here are a ton of pictures from last night affairs:

 Things were a bit slow at first with only Frank, Bryan, Wes, Karl, and myself showing up……actually we did not even count since we live at the place!

 Poor Melissa….even though she got her foot crushed by a car on Saturday she was still able to make it to the party.  Broken foot and all she still has awesome toenails or at least the three I could see.

 Things were starting to get loud around this time which meant a nice littel visit from the police but no tickets were issued.

 Hartman actually had to run to the store to get more beer. Mainly due Hollywood sho is shown here cosuming his 37th can a beer.

 By the time the evening was over I had acquired quite a few autographs on my cast thing.  The plan is to have Chuck Coyle sell the splint on his site www.theprosstuff.com.  So if you want a smelly splint signed by cyclists keep you eye on the sight and it should go on the auction blocks shortly.

Here is a quick racing update.  Karl got second in the TT yesteday with Scott 4th.  Then today Scott and Karl dominated getting 1st and second in the road race.  I screwed up the streak and did not get third.

Anyway off to get some party supplies for Hollywood’s going away party tomorrow. Anyone who lives in Boulder or anywhere else for that matter feel free to stop by (if you are relatively cool of course) for Hollywood’s send off.  Things should get started at around eight o’clock and if you need directions or anything email me.

I finally got my camera back today after it went for a little vacation to New Orleans with Kim Budde.  It was actually my fault that my camera and saddle and seat post made it back over a week after I did from Greenville since I forgot both of them.  Thanks for bringing them back Kim.

 The morning of departure.  I had to get up at an UnGodly hour to catch my flight to Greenville.  If I thought it was bad for me it was worse for Hartman.  He was the one who had to drive me to the airport at this UnGodly hour and then after getting back home had to turn around and have his parents drop him off at the same airport to catch his flight.  Thanks Hartman!

Tomorrow is the start of the three day Parker Street Omnium here in Colorado.  I am borrowing Chucky’s aerobars tomorrow so I hope I don’t crash and scratch them like I did to Moninger’s saddle in yesterday’s trash can incident.  Sorry Scott and I my as well tell Chuck sorry now in advance in case anything does happen.

I am officially back from my vacation.  I hope you have all survived my short hiatus from the blog but don’t worry I will be updating consistantly once again.  Here are some pictures from my stay in San Rafael, CA last week.  I wanted to say thanks to “Ann”ita* for inviting me to her place and putting up with me for a handful of days and showing all of the sites in the Bay Area.

* “Ann”ita is a made up name for whom I stayed with and will be used for purposes of anonymity.

   ”Ann”ita and I outside a nice wine country resort where we ate an awesome lunch.

 The veranda where we ate lunch at the resort…….very nice!

 I met a very nice laday at the resort where “Ann”ita and I ate lunch.  Her name was “Rocky” and we had a lot in common but she did not really say much which was a bit frustrating.

 After lunch “Ann”ita and I went and did a little wine tasting. This is outside one winery.

 Since grapes are my favorite food and they were growing everywhere I had to stop for a little snack.  Wine grapes are pretty tastey but the bitter white coating on the outside was a bit weird!

 After touring several wineries I did learn that I prefer a non dry, jammy/chewy vintage Cabernet with hints of baking spices and nuts!  Actually, by the end of the tour it really did not matter what I was drinking because it all tasted good.

 The following day after the wine tasting “Ann”ita and I went to San Fran for a little shopping and site seeing.

 After doing a little shopping we headed over to Alcatraz on a boat to check it out.

 My room for the weekend at “Ann”ita’s house in San Rafeal.  It was a bit cold but otherwise it was nice.  I even had my own bathroom.

 The following day we went and watched the San Rafael GP in downtown San Rafael.  Mike took second which was cool and I was able to chat with Dave Towle who was announcing and let me sit up on the announcers stand.  I was suppose to be the “handler” for the umbrellagirls who were working the event but I got fired because I did a bad job.  Sorry!

 I did have the privilege of being the practice podium kiss guy.  It was awesome!  I did not even have to win a race to get kissed. I kept trying to say that they needed more practice but after awhile I think the girls figured out that I was just trying to milk the kissing session.  Thanks girls!

Now I am back in Boulder and am riding my bike again and am actually lifting some weights.  Lifting weights is great……I am contemplating bodybuilding!
