Uncategorized December 23rd, 2006I made it back to Boulder safe and sound last night after spending the first part of last week at my parents house in Wisconsin and then the past few days in Grand Rapids, Michigan at coach Olson’s house.
The trip from Michigan to Denver might have been safe but it definitely was not fast. After being closed for a few days Denver International airport is a complete debacle. My flight from Detroit to Denver was delayed for many many hours
and I did not end up getting home until 2:30 AM! (Thanks for picking me up Hartman)
Due to the massive amounts of snow on the roads here in Boulder bike practice was cancelled today so Pipp and I went backcountry snowshoeing instead. I think we ended up hiking to the top of Mt. Sanitas via a round about way. Anywho…….here are some pictures.
Pipp put the hammer down out of the gates and dropped me.
Pipp on top of the world……okay it was only a little ridge but did feel like the top of the world.
Me celebrating after pushing Frank off of the ridge!
Two lovely Silhouettes……..actually it is just the shadow of Pipp and myself…….I think I look skinnier!
The way back down desecending one of the canyons.
Frank running down the hill to the car.
Me running a bit too fast down the hill…………..
Me face planting after running a bit too fast down the hill…………
Frank taking pictures and laughing at me after running too fast down the hill and face planting.
The view from here was shockingly beautiful! It was rather electirfying!
Time for me to bring Frank to the airport. He is going back to Wisconsin for a bit…….that is if his plane ever ends up leaving Denver!
later, g.

actually frank looks fitter, like buffer, he could probably be on a cover of mens health. You still gotta work on your abs a bit, they are a bit off the back.
