Yep, it has been awhile since I said this but I am home and for those of you that have forgotten that means I am back in Boulder, CO

Anyway, the last few days have consisted of riding in a car, sleeping in a rest area, lots of Starbucks coffee, and last but not least unpacking my bags.

DSC02970.JPG Leaving Redlands on Monday afternoon…it was hard to see with all of the smog…um, I meant fog…or that is what the locals call it.

DSC02974.JPG Shortly after leaving Redlands…I dozed off. Hey, napping is strictly for performance.

DSC02975.JPG I did get up to see the largest thermometer in the US wich is located in Baker, Ca.

DSC02976.JPG After napping it is manditory to have coffee so I am not groggy.

DSC02977.JPG Monday was Coach O’s birthday so I bought him a cup cake from Starbucks.  Happy Birthday Coach O.

DSC02978.JPG Next to Stabucks we got some jerky….which I must say was “out of this world!”

DSC02984.JPG Some cool Joshua tree’s along I-15 in California.

DSC02992.JPG Coach O tried to tell me he got chocolate on his shorts……

DSC02994.JPG …..but after finding this napkin on the floor…I think it was shit!  Plus, the car was kinda stinky!

DSC02998.JPG After spending the night at the Colorado Welcome Center in Fruita, CO in the team car I awoke to a numb leg which had fallen asleep and some lovely Mesas.  I think Mesas area really cool for some reason.

DSC02999.JPG I only spent one night in Fruita, Co and then already named a street after me…pretty cool!

DSC03000.JPG Another Starbucks stop in Fruita, CO.

DSC03006.JPG The tunnel of love….actually that is sort of disgusting since I was riding the the car with Coach O.

DSC03011.JPG Yep, the Rockies are still Rocky….and it is cold at 10,000 feet.

DSC03012.JPG Another Stubuck stop about 100 miles outside of Denver.

DSC03013.JPG Waiting for Mark outside that Starbucks.

DSC03014.JPG That sign is the Boulder city limit sign….I made it.  Too bad for Mark, Benno, and Omer who still had 20 hours of driving to get back to Michigan.

DSC03016.JPG What do I come back to….having to ride with half of the Health Net Team….needless to say it was a miserable ride…but I will admit it is nice to see Frank and Karl.

I did give the 177.5 cranks a run today and I don’t like them so I have to switch back…I am not sure why I always want to change shit….it definitely makes my life complicated.
