It’s a record
Uncategorized 3 Comments »Wow, it has be awhile since my last update. Actually, I think that I have set my own presonal non-blog-updating record…and to be completely honest I have enjoyed every non-updating minute of it! However, all good things must come to an end so here I am updating again.
The past month has been relatively busy with a stint in Vegas for Interbike, US Crit Finals and sticker stealing.
From Vegas I flew home for a solid day before heading off to Trinidad and Tobago for four day five stage race which was also accompanied by some good sun bathing, frisbee throwing, ox-tail eating, body surfing, gut ache/pissing out of our ass fun!
Now I am home and am running…yay!
Anyway, here are a few pictures from my adventures.
I definitely got some special treatment before the start of the US Crit Finals in Vegas…thanks girls!
Shortly after Vegas I flew to Trinidad and Tobago where I met Emile, Morgan, Robbie, Tommy, and Bruno…my teammates for the race.
The first night in Port of Spain, Trinidad at Emile’s house! It was hot!
In front of our hotel in Tobago where we spent most of our time.
The beach in front of our hotel.
The inside of our place…it definitely gets messy with six dudes!
Morgan also brought the pubic hair on his chest down for vacation!
The dude getting the coconut so I could cut it.
Really did not enjoy the coconut water but thank God they had diet soda!
There really are not too many laws on the island….ahhhh man!
Robbie complained about it being dark on the island all of the time!
After one of the stages we got to go for a glass bottom boat tour.(Emile back, Bruno in front).
A section of Bocco Reef through the glass bottom boat.
Unloading from the glass bottom boat tour.
After we were done racing Emile took us around the island. Tommy frolicking in Argyle Falls.
The rainy part of the island…one of my favorite pictures from the entire trip.
Massive set of stairs down to another beach.
The beach at the bottom of the stairs.
Alright, that is only a few of my pictures but hopefully that gets everyone up to date.
Before I go I would like to say a quick thanks to Emile for inviting me to race with him in his home country and taking care of everything!
On tap for this week the Pippster and I are going to trail run Longs Peak (A 14,000 ft peak). Nothing like going from the beach to the snow.
later, g.
PS. It is officially the offseason…currently I do not even own a bike since I just sold my Pinarello!
