N. Wisconsin Part 1
Uncategorized December 5th, 2007Here is a photo diary of my trip home:
Left Boulder at 3:52 AM on Sunday morning.
Somewhere near Nebraska it started to get light.
Ahhh….the sun finally made an appearance in Nebraska.
The interstate arch in Nebraska…which I still do not understand?
After an eternity in Nebraska I entered the lovely state of Iowa. This picture is for my buddy Wes who grew up in Council Bluffs, IA which borders Omaha, NE. Wes a native of Council Bluff, IA claims that those who live in Omaha have STD’s…wonder if that is true…and how does he know that…hmm?
Shortly after I got bored and took a picture of myself driving. I love to run it cold in the car so I have to wear my jacket, hat, and gloves…makes it feel like I am camping!
Houses near some windmills in northern Iowa. It has to be awesome living in one of the windiest, coldest places in the US!
After a trip through Minneapolis and a short detour due to the fact I forgot the I-35W bridge was broken I made it to Superior, WI…about an hour from mom and dad’s house.
From Superior onward the snow began to fall and basically has not stopped until this morning!
Eventually I made it to my parents house after nearly eighteen hours of driving…needless to say my ass was sore…wonder if one of those donuts like Homer Simpson had would help?
It is definitely winter in the north woods!
I also forgot what real cold was until I froze my face on an early morning run!
Time for me to go to the ear doc.
later, g.

did you pee in bottles?
December 6th, 2007 at 8:59 pm
then dump it out the window cuz you needed more room?
December 6th, 2007 at 8:59 pm
I’ve heard people do that.

thats gross

Yep I forgot Wes is actually a native of Washington and is a rabid Seahawks fan…who by the way are going to lose to the Packers who will win the Superbowl. However, Wes’s eventually moved to Coucil Bluffs with his parents…thus he is not a Coucil Bluff native but simply has been a resident.
Yes Jones I did pee in a bottle however I did not dump it out the window. Big Slam Diet Mountain Dew containers work the best..they have a big opening on top and quite a bit of space but still fit nicely under the steering wheel while being utilized. I did dump the bottle out at various Conoco and BP gas stations along the way…so if anyone sees yellow snow around the gas pumps at gas stations in Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, or Wisconsin…that is probably my piss!

i think its better to dump it out the window at 70mph, i heard it could take a cross country trip by the time you can perfect not getting it on yourself. I also heard some people like it behind you if they ran out of windshield washer fluid, thats just what i heard, sickos.

Hmm…I must lack the arm extension because I have tried dumping it out the window a few times and it ends up all over my car instead of the car behind me! However, when speeds decrease such as going over mountain passes in the snow, toll stops, traffic jams…all are good opportunites for me to crack the door and empty the pee bottle. I use the open door method for emptying…less splash on the way down and when it hits the ground compared to the window method.
People like when you put urine on their windows? Maybe I should just empty my bottle in window washing thing at the gas station that way it will be contained and not all over the ground.
