Savannah, GA
April 20th, 2008Ahhhh…finally made it to Savannah, GA after two days of travel! It has been an eventful past few days…two days of travel, two trips to the airport, one flight attendant dislocated shoulder, one cancelled flight, one lunch almost lost on “the vomit” machine known as an airplane, a Tour de Georgia team presentation, two saddle changes, two massages, and one conversation with a cute podium girl!
Having to head home on the bus from Denver International Airport after boarding our plane only to have it cancelled due to a flight attendant dislocating her shoulder!
My bus pass to get back to the airport the next morning! Nothing like spending all day in the airport when it is nice not go anywhere! At least I did not have to pack again.
The ride this afternoon on Tybee Island, GA…I was nice to be riding with the boys again!
Aerial view from the Helicopter.
Jim O’brien (one of our two awesome mechanics) changing my saddle for the first time today! After two tries I settled on the Fizik Arione TRI2 WingFlex (http://www.fizik.it/catalog.aspx?subid=Arione_TRI2_wingflex). Wonder how long this one will last on my bike?
Tour de Georgia starts tomorrow…wish us luck!
later, g.
